Sure enough, the following summer, the reunited group is stalked by a mysterious figure clad in fisherman's garb--replete with fish hook. Reviews for I Know What You Did Last Summer
...this appetiser proves that nouveau horror is alive and kicking hard.
A scream but no Scream, I Know is a clean, efficient horror picture out at the perfect box-office time.
A respectable, smartly-scripted slasher film that firmly proved good horror movies were once again being made.
The characters aren't interesting enough for us to be scared for them.
while any cod in the audience will undoubtedly shiver at the sight of a murderer in fisherman's garb, it looks pretty silly to us land-lubbers.
The payoff is less effective. It involves several teen-scream modules, such as the $1.98 Startle Effect; the Hand on the Shoulder; and the Is He Dead Yet? gambit.
