Lindsay Lohan Strips Down, Cleans Up Razzies, Lands Role in Jack Black Project
Don't call it a comeback. She's been here for years.
Say what you will about her script choices and off-screen behavior of late, but Lindsay Lohan has never been a slouch when it comes to getting her name in the news -- and to prove it, we've got not one, not two, but three Lindsay-riffic news items for you.
Last week was just packed with Lindsay news, starting with the starlet's nude photo shoot for New York magazine. The photos, taken by Bert Stern, were meant to recreate Marilyn Monroe's "Last Sitting," the series shot by Stern in 1962, six weeks before Monroe's death. Skeevy? Morbid? Perhaps. But hey, with Lindsay in her birthday suit, all parties involved had to know where most of the attention would be focused. (The link's at the bottom of the article, and if you somehow haven't seen the photos yet, here's your warning: Obviously NSFW.)
In and of itself, the Lohan shoot isn't the sort of thing we'd normally talk about here -- but it sparked a flurry of interest in (surprise!) the starlet's acting career, which many assumed to be in suspended animation after Georgia Rule and I Know Who Killed Me (more on the latter later). One of the bits of information that bobbed to the surface in the photoshoot's wake was the announcement -- exclusively confirmed to E! News -- that Lohan has signed on to star opposite Jack Black in a comedy titled Ye Olde Times. From the article:
A source at Patriot Pictures, which is producing the yukfest, told E! News that the film follows two rival Renaissance Faire troupes as they make their way through the competitive circuit. It's unclear whether Lohan will be one of Black's repertory players or a member of a competing Ren Faire faction.
It sounds -- dare we say it? -- like something worth seeing. Something rather like the opposite of I Know Who Killed Me, in other words, leading us to our third bit of Lindsay news, which is that the aforementioned flop was the unquestioned "winner" of this year's Golden Raspberry Awards, held Saturday morning in Santa Monica. I Know Who Killed Me made Razzies history, actually, racking up an unprecedented eight trophies. View the carnage below:

on Feb 25 2008 05:19 AM pretty as hell but not so smart in making choices. too bad, she has potential to become a classic (in looks and acting) hollywood actress. (Reply to this) |

on Feb 25 2008 07:00 AM woah woah woah fellas...take off the beer goggles! i'm sorry but have you guys been outside in the past 10 years? she's not even "average" in terms of looks. i cannot, for the life of me, understand the s3x appeal in this chic. AT...ALL. go to ANY college, even the all girls religious colleges...and you can find 1,000 chics that look as good if not better. i don't get the "lindsay is hot/pretty/gorgeous!" talk. she is sorta pretty, like all women, WITH MAKEUP. i've seen better bodies on a .69 cents a year porno website for the elderly. its obvious the drugs she snorts is contagious...because she has WAY too much of the public high on her average talent and looks. she's equal in HOTNESS to Cher...the lovely Courtney Love and the always "classic beauty"...Amy Whinehouse. a chubby out of shape crazy Britney actually looks better than her, and THATS sad. at least you know the white powder on britney's nose is from scarfing down a donut though... on Feb 25 2008 08:00 AM In reply to this comment (#1601783) At last, Gimy, we've found something that we are in COMPLETE agreement on. Between her and Paris Hilton, I just don't know what the hell these dudes are looking at when go on and on about how "gorgeous" these chicks are. I mean, damn, man, not even professional photography can hide all those disgusting freckles all over Lohan's misshapen body. Yuck! (Reply to this) |
![]() on Feb 25 2008 09:14 AM she has nice jugs... that's about it. she was cute in the parent trap remake. that's about it. ;) (Reply to this) |

on Feb 25 2008 09:21 AM She looks terrible in those pictures, and has looked terrible since she lost a ton of wait. I thought she was gorgeous just before she became the coke whore. I'd say around Mean Girls, when she was just a little chubbier (ironically more like Marilyn Monroe then), but she looked HEALTHY, and that's way hotter than the starvin marvin look she has going now. -Eric (Reply to this) |

on Feb 25 2008 09:41 AM
(The link's at the bottom of the article, and if you somehow haven't seen the photos yet, here's your warning: Obviously NSFW.)
What does NSFW mean? I could only come up with really dumb abbreviations for it. No Sex For Wilson Nude Screenshots Fat Witches I'm going to assume it means "Not Safe For Work" (Reply to this) |

on Feb 25 2008 10:39 AM In reply to this comment (#1601909) Come one man Freckles can be sexy. Don't hate on the gingers. (Reply to this) |

on Feb 25 2008 11:57 AM Just goes to show there's no such thing as bad press. And don't be hatin' on the freckles people. Sure, they aren't as cute on the lower body as they are on the upper, but she's got it all so it's a wash. Still, I have to admit that this shoot doesn't exactly play to her strengths. (Reply to this) |
|
on Feb 25 2008 12:20 PM the lower body is the only reason to ever so much as talk to one. Otherwise, it is a known fact that for every year you are dating or married to a ginger, you lose 1 inch of penis. And that's right, eventually it WILL go inverted on you. So avoid them at all costs. -Tom= (Reply to this) |

on Feb 25 2008 01:01 PM She was hot when she had meat on the bones. Now she's about as sexy as, say, a rake. Also, "I Know Who Killed Me" is one of the worst films I've ever had the misfortune of seeing. The only films worse than it are the "Rollerball" remake and "Batman & Robin". (Reply to this) |

on Feb 25 2008 01:01 PM um...yeah i love Lindsay enough to say that this article is wrong! she won the 2 for playing Aubrey and Dakota for Worst ACTRESS! Not Supporting Actress! Eddie Murphy won the award for Worst Supporting Actress for "Norbit". Lindsay Lohan wasn't even NOMINATED for Worst Supporting Actress, but Julia Ormond was nominated for Worst Supporting Actress for playing Lindsay's mom in "I Know Who Killed Me". (Reply to this) |
![]() on Feb 25 2008 01:04 PM I'm really sick of Lindsay in just about every capacity, but damn if she doesn't look good naked. Also, damn if she doesn't look terrible in a blonde wig. (Reply to this) |
![]() on Feb 25 2008 01:14 PM NSFW - Not Safe For Work, more commonly known as NWS, which means Not Work Safe. Lindsay Lohan making a small comeback? Color me surprised. I look forward to seeing the subsequent meltdown that is bound to follow. (Reply to this) |
|
on Feb 25 2008 01:32 PM Plenty here sure do like to talk trash about others looks. So you all must be some really hot studs? Ripped and super sexy yourself? All the right looks? (Reply to this) |

on Feb 25 2008 01:35 PM In reply to this comment (#1602177) LOL. Yeah, SOME freckles ain't bad. It can be cute and add to sex appeal. But so many freckles that all her skin is overwhelmed? Man, she looks like a fu ckin' cheetah! (Reply to this) |
