Among the merits of this small film (that could easily find a niche on cable TV) is a view of the Hamptons in the dead of winter when only salt-of-the-earth people and murderers remain.

Reviews for If I Didn't Care
... this snappy little thriller has many virtues but is terribly compromised by some really awful plotting.
The film wades into the sleazy underbelly of the Hamptons rich and infamous, and comes up with plenty of sordid, crisply detailed warped character dysfunction in vivid contrast to the elegant beauty of the Long Island exclusive terrain.
