I've enjoyed three safaris myself. Of course, a theater will never give you the actual experience of the Serengeti and film can never replace vision, but the images here are abundant with high quality animal life and rich with animal emotion.

While Africa is completely absorbing, it's best viewed as a primer to the subject matter. With its 40-minute run time, viewers are able to grasp only a surface understanding of the material.
