An early silent Western epic, this five-reel Tom Mix oater centers on Tom and Bessie Eyton crossing Indian country on their way to join Bessie's father in the California gold fields. Captured by the marauding Indians, Tom and Bessie are eventually spared because the Chief, (Wheeler Oakman) takes a liking to them. They manage to escape the tribe and are ultimately rescued by the cavalry. Produced by William N.
