They befriend Russ Raymond a famous, though reluctant, singing star who joins the Navy to escape the limelight for a quiet enlisted life. Unfortunately, an ambitious magazine reporter catches on to his plan, and eagerly works to expose the singer for a big story. Amidst the humorous chaos of shipboard life and the plot to expose Raymond, Adams causes conflict with Watson's girlfriend when he encourages him to lie in his love letters. [More]
