This is so very sad. The original Shrinking Man was an awesome, deeply philosphical film. This is going to be a crappy mayhem-filled comedy, with a completely inappropriate happy ending thrown in for good measure.

Oh well... the original is not going anwyhere.

UHHHH... Where art that old great EDDIE MURPHY movies. This just sounds stupid. I dont think BRET RATNER is a total hack, I actually thought RED DRAGON and RUSH HOUR were really good, but BEFORE THE SUNSET, RUSH HOUR 3, MONEY TALKS, and oh god his dismantel of the greatness of THE X MEN trilogy. I would give this movie a chance if they had a great comedic director like CARL REINER, HAROLD RAIMIS, or IVAN REITMAN. Probably will suck though... Im just gonna try to think of EDDIE MURPHY as one of the greats, while trying to block HAUNTED MANSION, PLUTO NASH, and DADDY DAY CARE out of my mind.
