The film that begged the question, what would you do if you were offered the money?

An enjoyable re-watch from the 90?s, Demi Moore?s narration (all though not all through the film) was a liitle irritating and came across pretty cheesy, but the film itself is worth watching and is an experiment that puts a relationship to the ultimate test.

Robert Redford, John Barry score, Demi Moore trying to sex up movies from the early to mid-90's with limited acting talent.

A great love story of a happy couple Woody Harrelson and Demi Moore find their marriage under pressure when, as they are in desperate need of cash, wealthy Robert Redford offers a million dollars for just one night with her.

Laughable Hollywood drivel that's little more than an extended episode of Trisha. And I still challenge anyone to think of ONE DECENT FILM with Demi Moore in it...

The ingredients seem to be in place for a solid, if not great, film: a thought-provoking premise, a decent script, a star-studded cast and the director of one of the best thrillers of the 1980s in Adrian Lyne. Piece of cake right? Sadly, the execution is sorely lacking in "Indecent Proposal", the story of a financially hard-up couple Diana and David (Demi Moore and Woody Harrelson) who are willing to do just about anything to keep their heads above water, monetarily that is. Enter John Gage (Robert Redford), a billionaire who meets the couple in Vegas, as they're trying to win their lives back, and offers David a cool million in exchange for a night with his wife. The movie's tone flip-flops from cynical to sappy to banal and predictable, with the unsatisfying climax only adding to the letdown. The acting is shockingly poor and the direction lacking the punch that made the aforementioned "Fatal Attraction" a unsettling thriller. Armed with even better potential resources this time out, somehow Lyne can't pull this one off.

The problem with the movie is the script, it was really silly and not powerful enough, but I still liked the solid performances from its three leads and the message is really good, its true that you cant buy love. It would of worked better if the script was well-done, yet it was disappointing, I kinda didn't bought the love story and it was sometimes cliche, though the directing, the message, the cinematography, and the strong performances was well done. There is something I don' agree with the Razzie Awards: "Worst Movie Of 1993", "Worst Supporting Actor for Woody Harrelson", I dont think so! it wasn't that bad at all, however the award that was well deserved was "Worst Screenplay", thats my only concern. the rest, pretty good.

The story of the movie was indeed mind boggling and centers around a wealthy business tycoon (Robert Redford) offering a young couple (Demi Moore and Woody Harrelson) $1,000,000 if she agrees to sleep with him one night. It attempts to make people believe that if a woman loves a man that she will not sleep with another man no matter what's at stake. Although the couple agrees that this is a way out of their financial dilemma, the fact that the marriage was so shaken up after the incident only showed flaws in their relationship. Thought provoking indeed and an interesting exploration of human relationships!

Romantic-ish drama.A happy couple's marraige looks doomed when they accept an offer from a millionairre businessman to spend one night with the wife if he pays them one million pounds.Afterwoods all the jealousy and paranoia surfaces and the couple seem forced to go their seperate ways. This is a pretty decent look at morals and true love and has some decent performances and Demi Moore looks great. Not brilliant but quite compelling with a decent enough plot.
