Indy 4 Cameo Rumor!
Movieweb's got the scoop.
by Jeff Giles | November 27, 2007
Blog Article | Discuss Article
Don't feel like waiting until next May to find out the details of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull? Neither did a "solid" Movieweb source, and that's why an Indy 4 spoiler hit the Web yesterday.

Movieweb's report is prefaced with "Spoiler Warning! You are not going to want to read this! You will be mad at yourself all day long. For various reasons" -- and we agree wholeheartedly; in fact, we haven't read a word of it. But for those of you who just can't resist this kind of thing, the inside scoop on a Kingdom of the Crystal Skull cameo is just a click away. No ruining it for the rest of us!

Before reading: I bet I can guess who it is.

After reading: Nope, I was wrong.

"What I saw this weekend was just too weird. The fact that it is true has crippled my anticipation towards seeing Indy 4."

:(

It is pretty weird...

Sounds fake to me or not nearly as bad as they're making it out to be.

Phewww! ... and all this time I thought it was Paris Hilton (was it supposed to be secret? Oh hell!). As far as it's not Paris, Britney and the gang running around the set of Indiana Jones, everything is welcome in that movie. It's just I have this extra-dose of those ladies lately on the TV.

If Chuck Norris does the Indy movie, the movie will be renamed to "Chuck Norris and the Kingdom of Crystal Skulls" :)... and he won't be a German assassin, he will be Gerwoman assassout. whatever that is (in jest).

I think I'm going to respond with a big SO THE HELL WHAT? They're trying to make like it's some HUGE deal, and it really is not. Cameo's come and go anyways, so color me neutral on this and alittle urked at the stupid azz hype.

I'll bet we see these guys in storage during the Area 51 sequence.

Hey Wiseguy, I like that area 51 cameo idea. Those storage crates contain many mysteries, i hope that is the case. I hope they dont have too big a cameo, and that photo on the site looks crap.

Coulda been WAAAAYYY Worse! ... JAR JAR BINKS!!!!!

Then again, if he were mangled and definately dead, i would forgive.

I hope this movie has a Transformer do a cameo and as soon as you see it an 18 wheeler crashes into a building and then a nuke goes off and Indy barely escapes with his hat.

It's a cameo! It's not like the entire plot hinges on it. I think they can pull it off. It's not THAT weird, certainly not in the IJ universe anyway. Now if it were J. Lo or Linday Lohan I'd be more concerned...

Maybe they finally convinced Connery to appear in the film for five minutes.

If it's even 1/5 as exciting as Dan Aykroyd's cameo in Temple of Doom, I'm sold.

The "Indiana Jones" films were always extremely tongue-in-cheek. That was what made them so much fun -- the humor. Not to mention that the cameo in question makes a lot of sense since it was that earlier film which is thought to have greatly influenced the way people perceive... uh... such characters... since then. I think it will be perfect!

As for the story... well, what were you expecting? God?
