Harrison Ford Feels Fit and Indy

Summary

If only Ford, Lucas and Spielberg spent as much time making "Indiana Jones 4" as they do talking about making it, heck, we might have had 3 new sequels by now. Leading man Harrison Ford is the latest principal to mention the project in the press, and here's how that went down. Back to Article

PLEASE START FILMING!!!
I love the Indiana Jones trilogy, but the constant delays in production are driving me nuts! This movie should have come out a year or two ago. I blame George Lucas, who's always complaining about the script and saying it needs to be revised.

I really hope that this does end up getting made and it lives up to expectations.

no need for a script, he'll resort to his "computers and digital technology for the new digital age"

atleast it seems he cares about the quality of the movie, most would release a crappy movie to get a quick buck....so I don't mind the wait, if it is going to better the film.

Basically, you are saying that he might have learned from Episode I? This is just going to be as dissappointing. The expectations are too high for this film to ever reach them. They should have either made a fourth years ago right after 3, or just left it at that and said, the Young Indiana Jones is as clsoe as you are going to get to more.

My feelings about films of HollyWood
Yes, you are right, I agree, cause more and more Hollywood film makers who just focus them eyes on box-office, which means money is the upmost goal of them and, whatever the story like, good for children or not. So, this way, the contents of the films looked not too much deeply touch my heart. I've watched some excellent films, I'm very interested in american film. But a indelible film takes time.

What I learn so far is that in Hollywood less honest and good quality seekers (film maker) are still insist in making senseful and meaningful production. How does America young people think about Hollywood, I guess it has deeply influent the whole world's film production, including China, I find out```

Unfortunately, the film business has always been money driven adn probably always will be. Dating back to the silent film era, there was a pecking order of A List, B List, etc. and films were made to make money. As an artist and, specifically, an actor myself, thsi fact is very hard to live with. I, of course, want it to be abotu the artistry and creativity not about who is on the cover of Tiger Beat. But the fact remains that it takes many millions of dollars to make a proper Hollywood film and people who put money in want it to come back to them and make a profit as well. So they generally only invest in the most bankable and, usually, most predictable, overdone, uncreative formulaic movies. Sad but true...

I've been hearing about Indy 4 since Phantom Menace came out...not rumors have you but real words from Lucas's mouth. That's around 7 years that Indy 4 has been 'talked' about! If they had done it 7 years ago it would have been only 10 years after Indy 3...now it will more than likely be 20. Yikes.

Lucas is a storyteller, always has been, always will be; and a damn good one at that. Do his stories always come out how he wants them to? I think the prequels are a good indication of no...but if you actually sit and try to get the story of the prequel trilogy, you'd find it's actually MORE engaging than the OT, his execution just blows as a director (save American Graffiti, which was his best showing in the director's chair).

So to Indy, Lucas wants the best story he can get, as do Spielberg and Ford-hence the delays. Hopefully since Lucas is more to the side than center stage he can give his notions as to how the story should be laid out, but let the guys who can present it in the best way do their stuff and make a great overall film, not just great elements (which Lucas does).

I'm warily excited about this one. Just have to wait and see; I personally can't wait to just see a teaser trailer for this bad boy!!
