on Feb 14 2008 04:40 PM If you are in your late 20's or early 30's like I am, then this trailer surely brought back a lot of great memories and sent chills down your spine. To hear that music one more time by John Williams on the silver screen was more than timeless. I know many of you are complaining about too much CGI but don't get your hopes down. When have the combination of Lucas and Spielberg ever let us down as far as story content and character development has gone? Together they haven't. Spielberg and Lucas pride themselves on storyline and character development, which is by far something that movies of this decade do not take into account. Additionally, some of you are saying that the trailer is kind of bland. Well, if you view the trailers of the other three movies, Crystal Skull falls in the same line as those three. Also, if you go back and re-watch the movies of old, then you will see that there are plenty of corny one liners that still remain timeless today. There is one thing that I already appreciate most by seeing the teaser. It seems that Spielberg and Lucas did not try to change any essence of what Indy really is. The way it is filmed should bring all of us back without even trying. Camping out for this event is not an option! (Reply to this) |

on Feb 14 2008 05:39 PM film dudes, this is a fabulous fabulous day. Like most here I grew up loving Raiders of the lost ark, and so here we are, a continuation of a classic trilogy nearly 20 years later. just a fabulous day, I cant say nothing else (Reply to this) |

on Feb 14 2008 06:05 PM I'm super psyched. I'll be happier with fewer CGI moments, but I still trust Speilberg to be tasteful. This cast is tops. (Reply to this) |

on Feb 14 2008 06:51 PM In reply to this comment (#1575510) Personally, I'd like less CGI too, but at least this frees Spielberg and Lucas up some! Can't wait to see Harrison Ford back on the big screen. (Reply to this) |

on Feb 14 2008 06:59 PM I'm a bit wary about this, the action in indiana jones was never super ridiculous but that whole swinging out of trucks in a warehouse as they are crashing is a little over the top. Also even though thy did use minatures in some scenes in the early jones movies, it looked good and more real than this shiny cgi crap. The only good cgi, is the cgi you can't tell is cgi in my opinion. (Reply to this) |

on Feb 14 2008 07:13 PM In reply to this comment (#1575609) Sorry to bust your chops but the action in Indiana is super ridiculos, again I think you guys haven't seen Indiana lately. Temple of doom. Indiana falls from a plane in an inflatable boat slides in the snow, falls again in a cliff, lands on the water and they never, ever fall from the boat. Indiana is supposed to be camp. (Reply to this) |
![]() on Feb 14 2008 07:20 PM I haven't seen the Indiana Jones movies since I was 6 or 7, but this looks really fun. Can't wait for this (Reply to this) |

on Feb 14 2008 07:36 PM Are you guys serious? This gets me a lot more excited than I was! I expected Lucas to totally stuff it up, but this gives me hope! (Reply to this) |

on Feb 14 2008 07:42 PM Oh man. It looks as cheesy as it should. I'm excited for this one. (Reply to this) |

on Feb 14 2008 07:49 PM As i watched the trailer, i felt like i was a child again. indian Jones is what movies are all about. C.G.I, Smee.G.I. this movie is gong to be awsome. (Reply to this) |

on Feb 14 2008 07:54 PM this could be pretty good. i really hope it is, but i'm prepared for it not to be. (Reply to this) |

on Feb 14 2008 07:58 PM Raiders of the Lost Ark will always be the best of the series (for me at least), so I doubt anything could ever live up to it, but I hope at least it is as good or better than The Last Crusade (which is my second favourite of the series). If it can at least do that I will be more than satisfied. (Reply to this) |
![]() on Feb 14 2008 08:12 PM I believe the words I'm thinking of are 'geeking out'. Great trailer. I was 13-14 when Crusade was out, this trailer brings out the kid in me again. (Reply to this) |

on Feb 14 2008 08:26 PM Nice how they've opted out of using CG and keeping it real like the originals. This maybe great, but never match up to the previous film experiences. We'll see. I also like the visual allusion to the wherehouse at the end of "Raiders" It seems this may play some role in the beginning of the film. (Reply to this) |
![]() on Feb 14 2008 09:33 PM While it didn't reveal major details, I'm ready for another Indy outing! May cannot get here fast enough! (Reply to this) |

on Feb 14 2008 10:00 PM Wow! I am definitely more excited. Who knew that Mr. Ford still had the moves? Plus, it looks like we'll get some more creative chase scenes out of this one, and those are always my favorite parts of Indy films. (Reply to this) |

on Feb 14 2008 10:46 PM The trailer was utter garbage. If anything, it diminished my desire to watch the film. I'm yet to see a good movie with Shia LaBoeuf in it, and Cate Blanchett looked funny, and not in a good way. Thankfully, it has a good director (OK, a VERY good director), or there simply wouldn't be any reason to even consider going to the theater. Anything George Lucas touches turns to **** and there is no point in casting Harrison Ford. Nostalgia is not a good enough reason to make me sit for only God knows how long watching an old guy running from/to "the bad guys" (dear Lord, please don't let it be nazis again). Many actors could do a very good job with the part, without looking like they're going to need a wheelchair afterwards. For ****'s sake, the part requires almost no acting at all. (Reply to this) |
