Critic Review - TV Guide's Movie Guide

Despite strong acting (the slapstick energy between Ford and Connery is wasted), obligatory chases and stunts and splendid art direction, the virtuoso technique evident in every frame remains formulaic -- unaccompanied by revelation, epiphany or surprise.

What dope were YOU smoking? To say it is not as good as the previous two pictures is one thing, but to pan it entirely?! This was THE best film of the trilogy IMO. Crystal skull is an abomination that will not be mentioned again.

Some critics like you will complain that a movie draws on if it's too long and yet still complain that an action adventure more isn't dramatic enough. All the Indiana Jones movies have been straight forward they don't have twist. The movie just shows you the path they take to get there. I don‚??t know if all you critics saw one movie when you were young that‚??s your favorite and compare all others to it regardless of genre. ‚??The comedy didn‚??t have enough drama‚??. This movie (and the ones before it) aren‚??t meant to have revelations. Apples and oranges, you don‚??t go to a dance club to have a brunch with your mom.
