I would have to agree with Bill the Butcher. Dawn of the Dead 1978 is the best horror sequel ever. Evil Dead 2 is more of a comedy. The original Evil Dead is much better and a more serious horror film. I like horror/comedy also, but I prefer more serious horror films, especially during October.
a better more serious horror film? Was anyone even scared by the first film? I was under the impression people liked it cause it was hilariously bad, so Ramei followed up with an intentionally hilarious sequel, and it was all the better for it.
I've seen a lot of horror films, and I tell you that Insidious Chapter 2 is the best horror movie sequel I've ever seen. It connects perfectly to the last movie, it's also scary and entertaining. Everybody should see this in the theater because it's the best horror movie sequel that you will ever see.
Not with you. I don't get high with FAGGOTS so you just remember that tonight when Diego is tea bagging you with his 15 year old balls LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

If I can be serious for a minute...the best horror sequel of all time is Evil Dead 2.

My vote goes to Dawn of the Dead (78) following up Night of the Living Dead. But those two mentioned above me are very strong imo.

I'm in total agreement, Chase. One of the few instances of a sequel surpassing the original in every way.
