Documentary filmmaker Konstantin Bojanov focuses his attentions on the proliferation of heroin usage in Eastern Europe in light of the announcement that heroin addiction had reached epidemic proportions after the fall of the Soviet empire. When the Iron Curtain finally fell, the folks who had once lived in its shadow were suddenly offered an alternative lifestyle that was never available to them in the past.
