I really hope they make more Iron Man movies. Favreau did an AMAZING job directing and mixing cgi with real suits. IMO he should direct every marvel movie. Downey, Jr. did an exceptional job as Tony STark, and I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. PLEASE make more!!

Ok Ok, i must admit.. the IronMan movie is d movie of all super hero movies
for sure... it was fantastic. i watch the final scene with nick fury and i really think that "sticky fingaz" Kirk Jones from Blade tv Series should have played "Nick Fury" than Samuel L Jackson. Think about it

POSSIBLE SPOILER

-I'd really rather they go with an Avengers movie that includes "Iron Man"

Iron Man is my 2nd favorite comic film of all time, 1st being Batman Begins.

U1sart, you're a true idiot in every sense of the word. I can't tell you how much I hate you. Thanks for spoiling the end of the movie without letting anyone know that your comment had spoilers. Nice way to ruin an ending for anyone who hasn't seen the movie yet. You're a real prick.

I knew about it and I haven't even seen the movie.
Most people don't even watch 'til the credits, they leave as soon as they start rolling.
So it was more of a suggestion to wait until the end, then a spoiler.

though i doubt this movie will top the dark knight...

p.s. Robert Downey Jr. Carried the movie with his humor.. he and Jon Favreau makes a great movie marriage of an actor-director...

Iron Man was fantastic. Top 5 Hero movie for my list. I love how since Marvel is producing their own hero movies now how they are turning it more into a comic book type of plot lines putting all the movies towards one very large movie aka The Avengers with the introduction of S.H.E.I.L.D. Lots of points of this can be found alone in Iron Man but with RDJ doing a cameo in Incredible Hulk, and Hulk being apart of that program, a Thor movie having been talked about for a bit, it just all seems very likly like a build up to it. Something I am looking forward too. Especially with the leader of the orgainization being freaking awesome. (Stay after the credits to find out lol) I look forward to sequels and how the rest of the marvel movies will tie together now. :)

That's cool that Teresa Palmer might be in the next Transformers, she's pretty damn hot and it would be a huge career boost for her. Got agree with everyone else, Iron Man was pretty damn sweet.

Iron Man honestly shocked me. I was expecting it to be OK at best. It was great. Between this, Indiana Jones, and Dark Knight (along with several others), it's gonna be one epic summer.

I had as much fun watching the trailers as I had watching Iron Man. And that's a compliment to the great movies coming out, not a slam on the incredible Iron Man movie.

It's gonna be a great summer.

Iron Man is definitely one of the best superhero/comic book movies ever! I was so impressed with practically every aspect of the movie. Can't wait for the next one!

I think The Dark Night will be much better, especially after seeing the new trailer for it in front of Iron Man. Iron Man is definately one of the best Superhero movies of all time, right behind Batman Begins IMO. That scene at the end of the credits was amazing, well worth the 6 minutes of waiting for anyone who is on the fence about staying to see it.

It's unbelievably good! A must see for a summer action flick, and a must see for all fans of the genre, so get your soda pop and popcorn ready, because we're on for trilogy, plus the avengers movie!

94% Fresh Rating -- WOW You IronMan fanboys haven't had this huge of a collective orgasm since your cooler older brother told you he thought he saw Pamela Anderson in your basement bedroom. It's an okay movie, but overrated by about 30 percent.

Its rating got up to 96% at one point until a fewpeople that are against superhero movies in general and the batman fans realized that was an unobtainable number for the dark knight to achieve so they been trying to derail the iron train.

I personally disagree. I found Batman Begins to be far more compelling. Iron Man was excellent though, and definitely ranks among the top comic book movies. There were a lot of LOL moments and some awesome action. And don't even get me started on the effects and Downey JR's performance.

But BB and TDK have it beat in the realms of grit, darkness, realism, and depth. Favreau's got talent, but Nolan is a master, and IMHO, he has stronger source material to work with.

dracula68-Iron Man was an amazing movie. keep in mind that the tomatometer is just telling you the percentage of people who thought it was above average. while i love Batman Begins and am waiting anxiously for TDK (not only because of a probable Watchmen trailer), Iron Man was pure fun escapism with solid acting, directing, and plot. I'm not a fanboy, but come on. even if I was, the part you said about Pamela Anderson in my basement bedroom. Thats not fair at all. Who wants a bedroom in the basement?

MattBaerFTW, LOVED that typo: "sam jackson looked awesome as furry"! Now I'm picturing Sam Jackson fur and big floppy ears! Or maybe he could be Winnie the Pooh! "I've had enough of these motherf***ing BEES in my motherf***ing HONEY!"

Thank you! :-)

I liked batman begins but it sucked big time in character development, they never truely explained why the villians were evil. Iron Man by far had a better story, action was on par, and the direction was even. Iron Man is the best so far.

This was at the end of the credits of Iron Man. Alot of people missed it because they left the move to soon.
