Bobblehead, lithograph, or limited edition bust? Which Iron Man DVD will you choose?

With a DVD campaign befitting one of the biggest movie events of 2008, Iron Man is headed your way today! But with at least eight different exclusive packages available, where should you head to pick up your copy? Below, see what special Iron Man collectibles are available at Best Buy, Walmart, and other retail outlets. (Click each image for a closer look!)

Best Buy and Sideshow Collectibles have partnered to offer an exclusive Iron Man gift set that includes the DVD, a $50 gift card to Sideshow Collectibles, and a polystone collectible bust of the Iron Man helmet. The set will also include a custom lithograph created by Marvel artist Gerald Parel. ($39.99)

Over at Circuit City, you'll get access to six exclusive Marvel Digital Comics featuring the artwork of Adi Granov. ($22.99)

Target's pack includes exclusive Mark III mask packaging, available on both the Ultimate 2-Disc Edition and 2-Disc Blu-ray. ($22.99)

Costco's packages features three Iron Man bobbleheads, including all 3 Iron Man suits from the film. Giftset includes the "Battle Damaged Mark II." ($39.99)

FYE and Suncoast will offer an exclusive Steelbook Package available on the Ultimate 2-disc Edition. ($22.99)

Comics fans should enjoy Borders' exclusive collectible book featuring original sketches by Bob Layton and the top 24 comic cover of Iron Man. ($35.99)

Walmart will offer two separate exclusive packages: The Ultimate 2-Disc Edition packed with an exclusive comic book chronicling the Nick Fury story and the single disc giftset is packed with the 1st episode of the new Iron Man animated series. ($44.99)

And finally, should you be in the market for both Iron Man on DVD and a handy power tool (to build your own Mark suit perhaps?), Kmart and Sears are offering $5 off on the Ultimate 2 Disc edition with any $25 Craftsman purchase.

If I had a Circuit City nearby I'd go for the digital comics. But since I don't I'll head to Target. It'll look nice with my Optimus Prime transforming DVD case.

Three stores (two Targets and I found a Circuit City). All within a quarter of a mile radius (don't ask me why there's a Target on each side of the freeway). All sold out. They had just a few single discs between them and one had a couple Blu-Ray. I called my mother and asked her to check her Target but I don't have much hope.

Moral of the story: Pre-order Dark Knight.

Lolz @ ARtaylor
Yeah I dont know about wich version to pick up but if they have all the same features why bother no? You only get a lil bit of goodies with each different set...Moral of the story: Like AR saide Pre-Order Dark Knight.

hahaha, ARTaylor, you made my day with that moral. Strange how you couldn't find a copy of the film, while the Target I went to had, no joke, at least 40 copies of the movie sitting on the shelves. I guess people here just don't like comics...fools :-P

I have a member discount at fye so i'll pick up the steel case edition for about 10% off retail. Best buy is the coolest and not that expensive considering what you get, target also good for the price. Depending on the bobble head size, costco is a rip off as is borders and wal marts.
If special edition's of video games tought us anything, its that people want steel cases our giant heads.

CVS gave me a deal where I'd save $10 on the Iron Mand DVD if I spent $20 on the various items on the page (like batteries and deoderant). Did not say if it was 2-disc set; I doubt it.

"Battle damaged Mark II?" That's good for a laugh.

I really don't give a damn about what else they're throwing at me just as long as they put the movie and a reasonable amount of bonus stuff on the DVD.

can I please just get the rental version only with the movie. with all of these behind the scene extra crap, I just think they are all extra ad junk that marvel is putting in for its next projects. for example, I used to watch american idol for the first couple of seasons, but I got really piss off when they started doing commercials inbedding with commercials, ie ford moment, ex winners hogging their cd, only use certain companies to vote.

God that deleted Iron Man scene was lame. I also don't need to buy a helmet to put my DVD in.

I'm in Quebec, so we don't hav all these exclusive (and some of them are offered in different shop than in US).Therefore, I had a much more limited choice: The Helmet Box one, The SteelBook and One with only one bobblehead (the Mark III). I opted for the Steelbook, because it was neater and cheaper than the two others.

I'm happy!!!

IM SO MAD!!! I did not know that they'll where doing this!?! I bought my overpriced "Special Edition" DVD at Walmart for $27.95 and it didn't even come with the standard guide card inside the dull looking DVD case.

I'm returning it for store credit I totally got ripped off. I hope that they still have the DVD bust at bestbuy.
