Iron Sky really could have been something if only someone had written a decent script.

I agree. The trailer was amazing, why oh why did it have to become a comedy. Total fail.

;In the last moments of World War II, a secret Nazi space program evaded destruction by fleeing to the Dark Side of the Moon. During 70 years of utter secrecy, the Nazis construct a gigantic space fortress with a massive armada of flying saucers. When American astronaut James Washington (Christopher Kirby) puts down his Lunar Lander a bit too close to the secret Nazi base, the Moon Führer (Udo Kier) decides the glorious moment of retaking the Earth ;

EXACTLY. I was hyped as Hell to see this. Premise was there, it lacks character. Childish story progression, mixed with idiotic political statements, and horrible Euro humor. Trying to portray America so obvious from a Eurotrash point of view.
Should have made it a 30 minute sci fi showpiece. Story sucks anyway, so stick to stuff blowing up.
