This video profiles the life and work of virtuoso violinist Itzhak Perlman. Born in Israel in 1945, Perlman came to the United States as a young prodigy to be a part of Ed Sullivan's Caravan of Stars. He became the most acclaimed violinist of his generation, performing the most difficult violin pieces ever written. The film features an interview with the engaging Perlman, as well as insights from colleagues and friends about the remarkable gifts of this talented musician and world ambassador. ~
