Jack the Giant Slayer isn't near as bad as it's 52% would suggest.

I've been eating up whatever Sam Fuller I could find over last year, so I'll have to track down "Steel Helmet". Interested in "V/H/S 2" and "Lore" as well.

Bigbrother .

How would you describe Lore? I'm gonna watch it, I'm just trying to decide what kind of mood I'm in when I do.

Slow paced trek with a well acted tenseness like "The Pianist".

I don't have much of a clue about it, which is why I'm intrigued.

Jack the Giant Slayer is nice if you see it in 3D. Its animated creatures have sub-part art design but the movie is far from being soulless.

Do you like Park Chan-woo's other films (Oldboy, Sympathy for Mr. Vengence)? It's still very much in his style. Very moody and creepy.

Jack The Giant Slayer and Hansel n Gretle are about as good as each other but have very different scores..
Lore is one of those highly rated movies that critics love but only people who are working on their hipster cred will watch. (I watched it way before it was cool to watch)
Stoker is the only solid pic this week.
