Jackass Crew Prepares for More

All the lingering questions from Jackass Number Two to finally be resolved.

As avid fans of pain-derived comedy may recall, when Jackass Number Two was released last year, head Jackass Johnny Knoxville mentioned the possibility of more footage eventually being released to the public -- and now, as Slashfilm reports, it may be on its way.

Here's what Knoxville said to the press last year:

"There's some stuff I'm still wanting to shoot, and we might shoot in November. It's not for a three, it's just because it's something I really want to do, and I said I was gonna do it, and then I could not not do it."

As it turns out, he spoke the truth; that footage is being shot, and it isn't for Jackass 3. It is, in fact, for Jackass 2.5, which is being secretly filmed in Los Angeles, where a set "spy" filmed some of the goings-on. (To see the illicit video, click through to the link below.)

According to Slashfilm's sources, Jackass 2.5 will hit the DVD market in time for Christmas. Now you know just what to get for your mother-in-law.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! been waiting for this news for awhile now, especially with the game coming out this month. you guys are too high society...these guys are hilarious. i will admit they only have a few more left until it starts to lose its freshness(straight to dvd kinda scares me) but until then, i'm pumped to see this. the second one actually made me cry laughing. i enjoy the misfortunes of others...and watching these guys embarrass themselves is hilarious. sorry but i'd rather see the Jack2ss crew than some stupid will ferrell movie or another sandler "comedy". THAT...is the stuff thats been played and is old.

I love Jackass, but can't stand it when DVDs come out with a .5 in the title, it's a rip off, it's lazy on the studio's part, I say just film the scenes and wait til they have enough for a third movie. No more of this 2.5 crap!

Sure, at times, they're ridiculously gross. I can sympathize with those that do not wish to see some of the stuff that they do. However, when they're just hurting eachother with their clothes on?
