Audience Reviews for Jai Bhim Comrade
Saw this today at Chicago International Film Festival. Really illuminating film.... buut at 3+ hrs, you really have to be dedicated. People WOULD be interested in this topic, but the movie simply must be edited way down in order to reach a wider audience. I know that Patwardhan cares deeply for the subject and wants to tell the world all about all the politics and figures behind the atrocities committed against the Dalits. But he just tries to cover way too much ground here. More characters than a Russian novel!
