Feels strikingly unnecessary. Why watch the same tale spun for a tenth time when you could be watching one of the previous nine?
Why watch another western? Why watch another murder mystery?. Why watch the final cut version of "Blade Runner" if you've already seen the original theatrical release? Possibly because the newer versions are a more accurate (or improved) retelling of the source material. Although that concept might not fit into your online self-appointed movie expert mind.Yes it's true. I think online movie critics are bottom feeding trolls who fail to see that regardless of their schooling in film making or how many classic films they've "studied", their words are merely opinions. Nothing factual. And yet they still insist on presenting their views as if there's any weight to their meaning.

And it's been done better in previous adaptations, for example, the Toby Stephens/Ruth Wilson version. This one was a bit of a snore, to be honest, and that's a sad thing because the book is far from boring! This film didn't nearly do the book justice.
