Great review. Very interesting. I completely agree with everything you said. People praise Jaws for giving birth to the summer blockbuster, which it deserves, but they often ignore the negative effect this has had on cinema ever since. And, no, he doesn't dislike the film, he doesn't exactly praise it either though. He focuses mostly on aspects that critics usually overlook. Jaws has had a great impact on the film industry. A blessing and a curse. If you ask me, I think more of a curse, but that's up to the individual to decide for themselves. But for the record, I share this guy's opinion. I still think Jaws is one of the greatest movies ever made and definitely the best summer blockbuster of all time. I just hope Hollywod doesn't do a remake. What a shame that would be...
