This is not merely a bad concept, but a dumb and irrelevant one — an idea that feels like it was left over from some drug-induced brainstorming session in the basement of amateur B-movie directors.

He sees something move out of the corner of his eye. He feels something - something wrong. Then, right in front of his father, the boy is snatched screaming into the sky. No one can help him. The Creeper is back… Meanwhile, returning home from a championship game, a group of varsity basketball players, cheerleaders, and coaches become stranded on the infamous East 9 Highway in Poho County - only it's the cunning Creeper who has actually crippled their bus. After the adults are killed one by one, the students are left alone, trapped on the bus and forced to defend themselves against a supernatural creature who has already decided who it wants to kill - and the kids soon know who among them are targeted. As 23 horrifying days of flesh-eating come to an end, the Creeper has embarked on its final voracious feeding frenzy. As night falls, the terrified group of young athletes must fight their own fears and prejudices and come together in a seemingly hopeless struggle against a winged nightmare hellbent on stockpiling as many victims as it can on the ultimate night of its grizzly, ritual feast. United Artists, in association with Myriad Pictures, presents an American Zoetrope production of Jeepers Creepers 2. Reviews for Jeepers Creepers 2
A fright-free disaster that makes you long for the 80's glory days of straight-to-video horror.
Salva seems to suffer from 'premature direculation'. He shows his monster far too early, and far too often.
Something more than an assembly line creature feature. And Salva backs up his disturbed subtext with passable spookshow affection.
The Creeper is quite the compelling little devil; too bad he's realized amidst such familiar trappings and tiresome caricatures.
It simply keeps repeating the same hunt and chase moments, run and hide material, and jump scenes over and over again.
Salva took this material as far as it could go the first time around.
The film relies more on jump moments than gratuitous blood and guts for its scares, which is a welcome choice after such blood-drenched dreck as Freddy Vs. Jason.
this lukewarm snore hasn't a chance in *#$@ of ruffling your feathers let alone deserving its proverbial title of fear.
The Creeper feels like a been there, done that demon. Not intentionally, he’s almost a protagonist — a mythical beast you feel kind of bad for, given he’s picked a busload of lunkheads to eat.
Wastes little time on trivialities like casting, acting, character development and script.
Jonathan Breck has grown into the character of the Creeper quite effectively -- his malevolent stare is almost as nightmare-inducing as the notion of Salva moving into your neighborhood.
...the Creeper himself - once an ominous figure, he's now become about as scary as a bowl of Corn Flakes.
Victor Salva’s laziness is explicable by slasher-film standards, but still infuriating.
