The movie works better as perverse comedy -- assuming it was meant to be funny. Whether intentionally funny or unconsciously so, I can't say I didn't have a good time with all this silliness.

He sees something move out of the corner of his eye. He feels something - something wrong. Then, right in front of his father, the boy is snatched screaming into the sky. No one can help him. The Creeper is back… Meanwhile, returning home from a championship game, a group of varsity basketball players, cheerleaders, and coaches become stranded on the infamous East 9 Highway in Poho County - only it's the cunning Creeper who has actually crippled their bus. After the adults are killed one by one, the students are left alone, trapped on the bus and forced to defend themselves against a supernatural creature who has already decided who it wants to kill - and the kids soon know who among them are targeted. As 23 horrifying days of flesh-eating come to an end, the Creeper has embarked on its final voracious feeding frenzy. As night falls, the terrified group of young athletes must fight their own fears and prejudices and come together in a seemingly hopeless struggle against a winged nightmare hellbent on stockpiling as many victims as it can on the ultimate night of its grizzly, ritual feast. United Artists, in association with Myriad Pictures, presents an American Zoetrope production of Jeepers Creepers 2. Reviews for Jeepers Creepers 2
Salva squanders all of his original movie's not-entirely- awfulness and bumbles into the realm of unintentional comedy.
Many unanswered questions of JC2 -- the '23' theme, why no one in Poho County, save one, can seem to find a broken-down school bus.
I think there's a reason they're a no name cast. There's not really anybody that's really very identifiable, or very good in their roles.
A sequel that answers many questions, not least of which is, 'There was a Jeepers Creepers 1?'
Salva takes a lewd, crude delight in the licking the boys with his camera.
I can recommend the film ... as a competently made, relatively scary horror flick.
As a horror film,Jeepers Creepers 2 more or less works, but it is somewhat empty.
The original wasn’t exactly David Mamet, but it seems that way in comparison with this all-screams-no-talk monster movie retread.
The Creeper really expresses himself far more than his sitting duck victims.
Given the fact Salva’s narrative is ridiculously structured courtesy of some feeble pedestrian direction, this second installment of Jeepers Creepers certainly isn’t worth capturing your curious peepers.
