Matt LeBlanc Gets Himself a New "Watch"
According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC's Joey Tribbiani (aka Matt LeBlanc) has signed a deal with Dream Entertainment to star in a sci-fi/horror thriller entitled "The Watch," which will be directed by the guy who brought you both "Jeepers Creepers" flicks.
"Based on a original screenplay by John Claflin and Daniel Zelman, the World War II-set "Watch" revolves around a team of highly specialized soldiers sent to blow up a Nazi fuel depot, only to discover they are being hunted by an evil spirit unleashed by the Nazi's secret occult experiments."
Victor Salva is directing.

I don't reckon he has a bunch of acting genre options other than comedy. But this, I reckon, will be an exception. LeBlanc would play a great soldier, I don't know why, I can just see it happening. Anyway, nice plot, good lead character, I believe, for this sort of film. For the average soldier, at least. He may not be a heroic, adventurous character, but I think he'll play more the average soldier, who has the hero inside him.. Oh, and I admire Salva. The Creepers movies were actually pretty interesting. (Reply to this) |
