There's nothing in this post-Scream screamer to make you jump or worry about what goes bump in the night.

Faults lie in not fully explaining the creature's origin or true motivations.

Jeepers Creepers 2 supplies us with a first-class creature, a fourth-rate story, and dialogue possibly created by feeding the screenplay into a pasta maker.

It's gory, repetitive, and not terribly interesting.

Salva seems to suffer from 'premature direculation'. He shows his monster far too early, and far too often.

There's a good chance we'll see Jeepers Creepers 3: Still Creepin' in 2005. Now that's horror.

Jeepers, Creepers. Can't anyone make a decent horror film anymore?

Horror movies don't have to make sense in the real world, but when you have to help their internal logic along this much, it's pretty much a cue for heckling -- or checking your watch.

Horror sequel's few "Boo!" moments get wasted by a script that cares more about scares than sense.

The Creeper is quite the compelling little devil; too bad he's realized amidst such familiar trappings and tiresome caricatures.

I think there's a reason they're a no name cast. There's not really anybody that's really very identifiable, or very good in their roles.

The nameless monster is akin to an unintentionally funny hybrid of Batman and a blowfish.

Given the fact Salva's narrative is ridiculously structured courtesy of some feeble pedestrian direction, this second installment of Jeepers Creepers certainly isn't worth capturing your curious peepers.

I was disappointed that it failed to live up to its first film...

The Creeper feels like a been there, done that demon. Not intentionally, he's almost a protagonist - a mythical beast you feel kind of bad for, given he's picked a busload of lunkheads to eat.

JC2 is a cheap creep that is certainly not worth the gold bullion it requires to venture out to a theater these days.

...it may be the first flick ever to borrow from "Jaws," "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and "Monty Python and the Holy Grail"
