This wartime weeper could just as well have been titled Stardom for Margaret, inasmuch as it solidified the popularity of that remarkable child actress Margaret O'Brien. While visiting London, American married couple Robert Young and Laraine Day are caught in the middle of the 1940 blitz. such a good wartime drama. robert young is good as always. he was always a underrated actor. he has great chemistry with not only the female lead in this movie but also the kid actor/actress. he is so sweet toward the boy and girl. margaret o'brien plays the little girl perfectly. she was such a cute good child actress
