Ill definately get JUNO, and I cant wait for BEFORE THE DEVIL KNOWS YOU'RE DEAD comes with my NETFLIX shipment tomorrow (I heard its great). I also rent LARS AND THE REAL GIRL, it looked pretty good.

Well RAY LIOTTA sucks now thats why, I shut off REVOLVER after I had to see him partially nude in that crappy movie, I also thought SMOKING ACES wasnt all that good either.

Correction: It should say that AvP:R earned not one but two nominations. It lost to I Know Who Killed Me and Daddy Day Camp. Got to watch that wording.

Personally I liked the movie. Referenced the previous movies a little too much but was still decent. Though if I know FOX I might as well wait six months and get the special edition that will undoubtedly come.

AVP-R actually possessed some real potential.

It was bloody and intriguing concept, which remained a great homage and continuation to the Alien and Predator franchises... that is... until the final 3rd act. It gets way too over-the-top, cliche and unbelievable. I liked when it was more intimate, when the army didn't get involved.

There were also far too many poorly conceived and illogical scenes. For instance, the Aliens defeating ALL those soldiers in the street is just plain stupid. Especially after average Joe and his clan of locals manage to run around in a nest of them in the hospital.

There's also this cool idea of the Predator destroying evidence of bodies and predators/aliens/face-huggers with some chemical. He doesn't want humans becoming aware of these, and their technolgies as well. However, in what seems to been inserted as a homage; after destroying all this evidence in the woods and then being spotted by a deputy of the police department.. the Predator then skins and leaves him hanging for the whole world to see. Why leave this evidence lying around?

I also think the whole "Predalien" concept is ridiculous. It just wasn't necessary, and once again, took the movie from being suspenseful, to being camp and frustrating.

i didn't think Revolver was as bad as they said, actually...i kinda liked it. yeah it was predictable and the "elevator scene" was retarded but...better than half the crap i've rented lately. at least it didn't have a horrible sh3tty ending like that overrated Oscar winner...

Silverman in a romantic comedy? wow, is she actually funny again?? cuz...really, since her full throttle PR mission to be the meanest chic in the universe...she hasn't been funny since. its coo to be a jerk...IF you're funny. but she's just...not. years ago, when she was doing it TO BE FUNNY...she was hilarious. now, she's just hack.

you have some valid points, but i cant say they bothered me, i still enjoyed the massive amounts of gore in the movie, thats why i'll be picking up the blu ray, gore in hd baby!, besides, its not like this movie was entended to be oscar material anyway

I ordered Juno from columbiahouse hopefully it doesn't take 25million weeks to get here like my intro package did.

I may get A Shot at Love that show was so entertaining I hope they have more Ashley's visit to the hospital that was hilarious. Also maybe it will get the boredom out of my head that was "Thats Amore" please MTV DO NOT GIVE THIS SHOW A SECOND SEASON but give Tila a few more.

Sarah Silverman does play a Sarah Silverman-like girl in I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With, but I still prefer her scene in The Way of the Gun. It's her best work.

When a movie manages a 2% on the Tomato-Meter, it just encourages me to watch it. I don't like to give money to terrible movies, but how can I resist movies that are beyond terrible? I need to know how a simple film about magic, The Transporter, and Hellboy managed to offend so many critics...

Please let Juno, the 8 million dollar indie flick, disappear. Quite possibly one of the most overrated , corny, wannabee cool movies to ever come out. A character movie with no character. I'll stick with the 2 most criminally underappreciated films of 2007 Before The Devil Knows You're Dead and Lars and The Real Girl, dynamite performances and just a pair of well made movies. I'm also curious to what a 2% tomatometer looks like so I'll rent Uwe Bolls craptacular movie and get hammered.

man seeing phillip seymour hoffman bone marisa tomei in "Before The Devil Knows Your Dead" is wayy more than a little disturbing. please, its a excellent movie with a smart plotline and great acting, but watch with caution (ppssssst.....its the very first scene of the film.) anyway, uwe boll is just now trying to mock everyone else. he knows his films are absolute horse***** and he dedicates his time to make them in that fashion. Hey, im goin for Juno and Cloverfield next week, woo!!

when an alien takes over a body it absorbs his characteristics and in this case you get predalien and you have to admit the movies needed a change repeating was getting old i liked the new one it is what I did not expect and the actors who cares they will die anyways, this site has a bad commentator he gave the highest scores from some crappy films as usual. Artsy sucks if you knew how many hours it took just to set up one scene you will understand why they are independent, real producers will not waste their time for another nepolian dynamite crapfest.
