I don't think how it looked in 3D should have any thing to do with how good the movie was.

3D is an abomination.
Apr 15 - 12:49 PM
How is the 3D effects... i want to watch this movie only for 3D effects.. :)

dethburger hates Flixster
The 3D is pretty good but not great. Think "Avengers" not "Titanic".
A lot of fun in imax.

should go up--way up-- the new 3-D only adds gild to the lilly
Apr 5 - 02:36 PM
It's gone back to 90%!!! Yay!!!
Apr 4 - 08:26 PM
Make that 91%
Apr 5 - 08:41 AM
I like that I'll be able to see this movie in theaters, but I've already seen the score go down because of critics who haven't seen it and don't like it. It would be nice if they didn't just give it a rotten score just because most everyone else likes it. Kind of bugs me but I guess that's how people are.
Apr 3 - 04:37 PM
what are you talking about?? The critic's score is higher than the audiences! Only ONE dumb-dumb "critic" didn't like the 3-D!!!
Apr 5 - 02:40 PM
Yeah, but before the movie came out in theatres, the score went down. That's what I was referring to.

The Artist Formerly Known as Tutweiller
NOPE! FUCK 3-D! I'M OUT! (slams door, starts car, drives away)
Apr 2 - 04:11 PM
There is nowhere for you to go. You HAVE to see it in 3-D or else.
Apr 4 - 08:56 PM
Not true. It's playing in 2D in a lot of theaters.
Apr 5 - 12:26 AM
I was just joking man
Apr 6 - 03:32 PM
It freaking pisses me off. I HATE it when stupid, old hipsters have to go back and hate on a great movie.
Apr 2 - 02:03 PM
Usually with re-releases the meter tends to lower. See: Titanic, The Lion King, Star Wars Ep. 1, etc. As you stated, usually just critics looking for a reason to get a jab at a film the second time around.
Apr 1 - 10:28 PM
I could be wrong, but I think I remember Titanic's score going up.
Apr 2 - 07:58 AM
Titanic went from 83 to 88
Apr 5 - 01:20 PM
It's already gone down from 90 to 88%. Fucking critics.
Apr 1 - 02:53 PM
yea that was quick, when i wrote this it was at 90%
Apr 1 - 05:10 PM
yea that was quick, when i wrote that it was at 90%
Apr 1 - 05:11 PM
I think it will probably go down a few points. I'm sure some critics will just love to give a classic a bad review.
Apr 1 - 12:53 PM
I wouldn't really call Jurassic park a classic, it's a fun movie don't get me wrong, but a classic? i wouldn't call it that.
Apr 2 - 02:00 PM
Dude, it's definitely a classic. When it was released it became the highest grossing film of all time and the first to cross the $900 million mark worldwide. Not to mention it's now 20 years old. So yes, it's a classic.
Apr 2 - 02:02 PM
I would argue that it is a classic, it was groundbreaking and epic. Some movies today don't live up to the bar set by it. Plus it's 20 years old...
Apr 7 - 01:10 PM
It is honored to the American Film Institute as one of the greatest thrillers. For a 90's movie that's as close to a a considered classic as you can get.
