Justice League of America Spoilers!
UGO has the scoop!
George Miller's Justice League of America is on Warner Bros.' production fast track -- and so, apparently, is the film's rumor mill.
Hot on the heels of the news that Jessica Biel is in talks to join the JLA cast as Wonder Woman, UGO brings us a barrelful of spoilers -- supposedly cribbed directly from the script, which was read by a "deep cover source."
You know the drill by now: We aren't going to share them here (in fact, we're studiously avoiding them), but for those of you who just can't resist the spoiler's siren song, that link below is all that stands between you and pre-release Justice League nirvana. Happy reading!

on Sep 26 2007 06:19 AM Yeah, I heard that Wonder Woman goes on a rampage in a hair salon and ***** slaps Robin after he experiments on her with a new hair style. This is going to be soooo lame! (Reply to this) |
![]() on Sep 26 2007 06:42 AM I'm thinking that it will only appeal to Power Ranger or fans. Everything that's been said about Justice League so far gives me the impression that it's going to be a rushed second rate production aimed at the fan going Ooooh and ahhhh over seeing all the superheroes on the screen at the same time. Just like the 'Not Very' Fantastic 4 movies. (Reply to this) |

on Sep 26 2007 07:21 AM Are they sure they really want to make JLA a live action instead of a cartoon? (Reply to this) |

on Sep 26 2007 08:11 AM Wow, bust out the rotten mark for this movie right now. Why Hollywood, why this? (Reply to this) |
![]() on Sep 26 2007 08:26 AM Actually this story sounds like an adaptation of "Tower of Babel", which was one of the best JLA stories I've ever read... So far I'm excited... but this movie will be very VERY easy to screw up. So I hope they are careful. (Reply to this) |
![]() on Sep 26 2007 08:59 AM Justice League is my favorite... but this... this sounds more terrible everyday. Expect Shazam and Teen Titans to be better movies everyone. (Reply to this) |

on Sep 26 2007 09:03 AM The plot that they've picked is one of the most interesting plots from the comics...! But, having said that, it's also one of the simplest to mess up! :-s They have to be on the ball to actually pull this one off! Especially considering that this is the FIRST movie! And yes... If you read the comics, you know who's gone rogue! :-D But hey... I haven't watched the cartoons... I'd be interested in knowing if Maxwell Lord is involved in the script...! All in all, if they pull it off, it'll be a humdinger! If they don't, then it'll be one of the worst super-hero movies ever! Forget Spider-Man 2/3 (take your pick), Ghost Rider or Fantastic Four (ouch!)! I would really have loved to see Bale and Routh reprise their characters in this movie though! :-) And didn't I hear once that this was gonna be a mo-cap movie?! When was it confirmed that this was actually a live-action?! Can someone confirm this? (Reply to this) |
![]() on Sep 26 2007 09:05 AM "Not Very" Fantastic 4?! Those were the best comic films I ever saw!!! I also enjoy dipping my privates in sulfuric acid, poking my eyes with push-pins, shaving layers of my own skin off on the side of a cinder block! Therefore, I just can't freaking wait until JLA comes out...If I am lucky they will just make Transformers 2 and JLA together into one, four-hour festival of crappy quips and cheap explosions and I will weep in the audience and cut my thighs with razors. God I love cinema! (Reply to this) |

on Sep 26 2007 09:52 AM Sorry to change the bad mood here, guys... but: (i) Word is (interested or not) that the script is really good. (ii) George Miller (one of the most talented guys working in Hollywood today, check Mad Max, The road warrior, Lorenzo's oil, The twilight zone... heck, I even enjoyed Babe 2 and Happy Feet -forget The witches of Eastwick, please-) is directing. (iii) The story line (man, it's The OMAC project, for Pete's sake!) sounds pretty cool, much better plot than almost any other super hero movie recently made (with the exception of Watchmen and the Dark Knight). (iv) And, honestly, geek to geek, who wouldn't like to see Batman and Superman together in one movie? But please... Green Lantern is Hal Jordan, and Flash must be Barry Allen... let the latter die later, but put them on! (Reply to this) |

on Sep 26 2007 11:04 AM Personally, I would like to see the kindom come storyline for the JLA movie. The studio execs could create a whole new franchise out of Alex Ross and Mark Waid. Kind of like they are doing with Frank Miller, (300, Sin City) (Reply to this) |
![]() on Sep 26 2007 11:47 AM This is not the JLA. Read the comics, JOHN STEWART IS NOT EVEN A MINOR CHARACTER, HELL HE IS THE SIXTH MOST IMPORTANT HUMAN GREEN LANTERN. You have Hal Jordan(best DC character by far) then Kyle Ryaner(sp), then Alan Scott, then Guy Gardner, then even though she is not a GL you have Jade, then John Stewart. NO ONE CARES ABOUT THAT MORONIC CHARACTER GET RID OF HIM AND USE HAL JORDAN, YOU KNOW THERE IS A BIG REASON WHY THE RETURN OF HAL JORDAN WAS ONE OF THE BIGGEST AND MOST POPULAR STORIES EVER AND WHY THEY BROUGHT HIM BACK BECAUSE HE IS GREEN LANTERN NOT John "i am only a green lantern because they need a black character" Stewart. (Reply to this) |

on Sep 26 2007 12:33 PM Rah! Geek rage! They need to have Hal Jordan be Green Lantern, go rogue and kill everyone, then Kyle Rayner get the ring, but Hal comes back, then Kyle almost dies in Infinity Crises, but instead becomes Ion! AND IT ALL NEEDS TO HAPPEN IN ONE MOVIE!!!! Seriously, calm down. If you get weighed too down with continuity, it becomes completely unapproachable too anyone that doesn't have a PhD in dork. The plot doesn't sound that bad. I just hope the acting, directing, F/X, and editing can keep up. (Reply to this) |

on Sep 26 2007 12:40 PM if they are going to go with the john stewart green lantern, i would suggest jamie foxx. stewart is supposed to be ex military and with foxx playing those roles in jarhead and the kingdom, he'd be a good fit. even though aknddon3 is aknddon3 (aka insane), i agree with him in one respect. a Hal Jordan GL movie, if done correctly, could be mind blowingly awesome (thats why i dont mind them using stewart in JL, if it doesnt work out then there is still a chance for a hal jordan GL movie)... i dont know about you guys, but the plot does sound kind of cool, although i can see how easily it can be messed up. its wait and see until they start casting, then we'll have a better idea of if they are going to go the fantastic four route (and cast actors and actresses like jessica alba) or the batman begins route (cast respectable, capable actors) (Reply to this) |

on Sep 26 2007 01:40 PM I didn't read any of the spoilers, in case I actually want to see this film. Just to get on record, I WOULD **LOVE** FOR THIS MOVIE NOT TO SUCK HAIRY RHINO CHUNKS. ..I don't, however, have much faith in the industry, as a whole. And this excercise feels an aweful lot like another soulless corporate money grab: Why *right* now!? What is the urgency, if not simply to cash in on the hero zeitgeist? PROVE ME WRONG, HOLLYWOOD. I DARE YA. ..PLEASE? (Reply to this) |
