Dooley and Jerry Lee are at it again. The day after Dooley (James Belushi) retires as a detective from the police force, he finds himself -- and his faithful canine companion Jerry Lee -- chasing high-tech burglars who have stolen a valuable prototype computer chip. Even if you feel like you've seen this movie a thousand times before, it is kind of enjoyable thanks mainly to Belushi's easy-going likableness.
If you're really renting this you're not interested in discretion in your entertainment choices, you're interested in Anne Geddes, John Grisham, and Thomas Kincaid.
Not the Great American Comedy, but if you liked the previous movies in the series, you'll have a good time with this one too.
It is a cute movie, appealing mostly to kids and dog lovers.
About half an hour into this, I got the feeling that this was meant to be a pilot movie for a TV series that never got picked up. Thank God it never got picked up.
