Audience Reviews for Kabe-otoko (The Wall Man)

This movie had a lot of potential with the premise of an unseen creature moving through the walls, watching your every move... but it loses its way pretty early on. Nishina starts to go crazy, becoming obsessed with the idea of the Wall Man, which is becoming urban legend. It really doesn't go much deeper than that. It's more drama than horror, but I think it would have worked a lot better if it had been scarier. The Wall Man himself is a creepy idea, but they decide to just leave him where he is and focus more on Nishina's obsession with him. Ultimately, the story doesn't go anywhere.
