The film, written and directed by Sabbir Khan, has only one frantic desire: to entertain.
Advertised as the first Bollywood movie shot at a Hollywood studio with an appearance by a major US star, Sabbir Khan's proudly silly Kambakkht Ishq otherwise hews closely to a familiar Indian pattern.
Awesome dance numbers [are] the solution to Matthew McConaughey's ouvre. Basically it's How to Lose Your Sister's Guy in Hollywood.
A sexy, dopey film that believes all you need for an entertaining night out are copious amounts of dancing, singing, broad clowning and gorgeous people.
These kinds of movie's with poor acting and scences of horribly performed action stunts make me question the Bollywood film industry's idea's. The storyline is weak, the acting is poor in all circumstances, definatley not a good wholesome family indian film. Lately Akshay Kumar seems to be taking up every film offer

Akshay is a great actor so why is he choosing stupid roles. For such a big star cast you would THINK the movie was good, sadly it's not!
