The Kids were discovered performing in a Toronto club by "Saturday Night Live" producer Lorne Michaels. He brought their unique, hip humor to American audiences by launching them in their own series. The show, which ran from 1989-1994, first aired on HBO, then on CBS and the Comedy Channel. Over the course of 110 episodes, the five-man, cross-dressing team attained a large cult following. Although they went off the air, their humor lives on in the form of reruns, a hit feature film and, now, in video. [More]
