Great actors in a depressingly poor gratuitous film

Given the cast I was looking forward to seeing this film. I left the Cinema thinking it was one of the worst films i have ever seen. Weak story line, little or no laughs, and the violence, with close ups and cranked up sounds actually made me look away, which is something I have not done in 40 years of watching all sorts of violent movies. Trash!
