All he says is Orlando Bloom is rubbish and the film is unsatisfying, thats the problem with critics these days, some just don't even bother.

i agree Orlando Bloom sucks but i have to admit i liked him in this movie although another actor could have easily played him as good or better it definitely isn't a flaw of this movie at all

You are a boring film snob with no sense of fun. Go watch some pretentious foreign film and leave Kingdom of Heaven alone. You just hate it because there are loads of awesome battle scenes and people with swords.

"sense of fun"? I wasnt aware that this film is supposed to be a Crusades comedy romp.

Why do most critics criticize Orlando Bloom? He is a decent leading man. And the movie did satisfy.

I cant speak for all the critics, obviously...but my criticism of Bloom would simply be that, he absolutely cannot act for shit.
Some of his scenes are laughable, it's like he's done a 3 day acting course and somehow manage to blag his way into Hollywood.

It would not be unreasonable to argue that if Bloom wern't in this movie, that it would have been a major hit.

I mean, a skinny 5ft mascara wearing pretty boy as a muddy knight in a medieval world? Don't make me laugh.
