Critic Reviews for Kismet
The heavy-handed glittering Arabian Nights musical is a great watch visually, but unfortunately the storytelling is uninspiring.
...the stage play went to the screen for Minnelli to direct. However, somewhere in the translation, something got lost.
Colorful yet lackluster MGM musical spectacular.
Something went a little bit wrong with this most opulent version of the hoary old Edward Knoblock play.
