The film's primary function seems to be in lensing the banalities of everyday living. To that end, the film is successful; in providing illumination to those banalities, one will have to look elsewhere.

People don't make movies like this in America (if at all), and it is bound to make some viewers uncomfortable. The filmmakers are using graphic sexuality to make a point, which to some extent works.
Not only does the film look amazing, it covers many layers of relationships in a way I've never seen before.
Despite natural perfs, characters aren't very articulate or well-defined.
