Reviews for Koi... Mil Gaya
Of course it's hokey and derivative, but it steals from the originals with such panache that you can't help but love it.
Ultimately, it's a Hollywood science fiction plot wrapped around a traditional boy-meets-girl Bollywood core, and the song-and-dance numbers are for the most part merely serviceable.
You know all along that Jadu will get to return to his far-away planet and that Rohit and Nisha will walk off into the sunset together, but it's fun watching the events unfold.
Whether deliberate or accidental, the look of stunned perplexity on little Jadu's face when he finds himself in the middle of a hillside musical number is itself worth the price of admission.
