Audience Reviews for Kozure Ôkami: Shinikazeni mukau ubaguruma (Lone Wolf and Cub - Baby Cart to Hades)

½

The third film in the 'Lone Wolf and Cub' series begins feeling different to the other two, it initially moves at a slower pace setting up story, developing characters and building towards the climax, and this is where it really kicks off. The climax is one of the most (if not the) most impressive sword fighting moments I've seen, it even beats Azumi's finale. In terms of the whole film though I still enjoyed the second one more as it felt like it had more emotion portrayed within it.

aka 'perambulator against the winds of death!' the third film in lone wolf and cub series is a bit weaker than the first two but it's almost made up for by the spectacular climax in which ogami itto defeats a whole army with his baby cart from a bond film

I'll admit the plot to Baby Cart to Hades isn't the most exciting premise I've seen in the Lone Wolf and Cub series thus far, but the action more than makes up for it. Ogami Itto coldly and stylishly destroys all in his path--including an army (yes, army) of ninjas in a final battle better than just about anything I've ever seen. The violence is superb and goes with the elloquent spaghetti western-style direction like chocolate and nicotine. Bad. Ass...!
