There are so many lies in this thread. My opponents are attempting to paint themselves as the leaders when it comes to issues involving Rotten Tomatoes, and this is wrong. For example, 707PG13 CLAIMS to like Rotten Tomatoes, but I have seen the videos of the preacher it has Church claiming that Godard was crap and praising Uwe Boll. As you can see, my fellow Tomatoans, such bald-faced anti-Tomatoism reflects on the other candidates, and in this campaign you need to elect someone you can trust.

I would be honored to receave the shirt because I recomend this site to everyone when any opportunity arises and I know some of them now come on here faithfully. I have been a member for a long time now, you can't tell how long by looking me up though, because I changed my name a while back. Plus I come on here everyday and read every news article. I also check the tomatometer everyday on all the upcoming fims and even write down how much each has changed from the day before.

I too, am a diehard Rotten Tomatoes fan deserving of a t-shirt. Also, I am willing to make a deal: If ever in my life I am nomintated for an Oscar, I will wear my rotten tomatoes shirt in leu of the customary tuxedo. If they let you do that sort of thing. Maybe, as a worst case scenario, I'll wear it underneath my armani duds and rip off my pressed white shirt durring my thank you speech to reveal the ratty old Rotten Tomatoes shirt I won as an eighteen year old. Or maybe I'll do it durring someone else's speech. That would be good too. A gamble on your part? Yes. There's a chance, though.

P.S. "But what about the SAG awards or the Golden Globes?" you say. I don't know. Maybe if the whole Academy Award thing doesn't pan out I could pull the same stunt there. We'll see how things shake out.

I spend most of my life either in a cardboard box, or fighting pygmies over use of said box. All this is the more difficult, as I am actually much smaller than any pygmy or midget you have ever seen.

What little money I make whoring myself out to shopping cart grannies, I spend on internet time at the local Bohemian cafe, aptly titled, "The Hobo Hazelnut."

Upon winning this shirt, as large as possible, I will be able to make many many smaller versions of said shirt, as well as a traditional Celtic kilt (I need to wear long shirts, as I hate wearing pants).

What material is left, will be used to make parachutes for our soldiers overseas. It will likely save many many lives (of incredibly small people).

I am also a Priest, trained in the old timey ways of the long-ago. This means I can grant indulgences. The lucky person who gives of me the shirt, shall be granted full pardon for their sins, and will have a much easier go of getting into heaven.

I feel that I am the most deserving of this t-shirt because of my foreign policy experience. In Bosnia, I single handedly landed my fighter jet under heavy sniper fire, defeated the enemy combatants in a matter of minutes and still was able to listen to a little girl read me a poem while rushing with my head down towards my car.

Great show! Here are a few reasons why I humbly (yeah right!) deserve the shirt...

- I actually post comments to the show when there's NOT a contest.
- Viewer mail, with all it's great feedback? Don't mean to sound like an *** but... my idea. ;)
- A year ago I bought a "fresh" shirt for my sister, who had never heard of RT, and now her and all her friends are addicted lol
- I will still bring Starbucks next time I'm in LA (although I'll bring it whether I win or not!)

I know I just joined the site literally five seconds ago but I've been reading RT for the past six years. I've been on this site everyday and my knowledge about movies has expanded so much since then. I would read the forums and read some informative and equally funny stuff. I love this site like you wouldn't believe. It's help me discover what movies truly can be. I know it seems like I'm going a bit over the top for a shirt but you know what, after how much this this site has done for me. I would love nothing more than a Shirt to show that love.

Once again, all I see from my opponents are foundless attacks, broad generalizations and bragging with no basis in fact. As the FIRST candidate to stand for Tomatodom and post in this thread, I believe that I have been out in front of all oher candidates on these issues. The thing to remember is that it's entirely possible that Zohan and Panda are going to split audiences. They're two movies with polar opposite followers. Sandler fans are not going to spend their money on Panda, and vice versa. Whichever one opens is going to have a huge hit in the numbers because it couldn't unify the general public. My uneducated bet would be that Zohan and Panda each weigh in at around $95MM. Just something to consider, I guess.

Good show, although Alex needs to up the heat. That's a cross between bringing the heat and upping the ante. And without Jenn and her alluring dresses, well, it's not as fun.

You seem to have a good sense of what makes the films tick (or fail to tick) for the most part. But a few things I disagree with. For one, I'm tired of the trend of 3-D animated movies. The thing is we have all these movies trying to prove that animation can be "not just for kids," but at the same time they enforce a rule that the films have to be at least partially for kids. I wanna see someone do a 3-D movie that isn't for kids, period. And a good one: not one like Beowulf. A good script with strong characters, a powerful story that is expressly not for kids, and none of this using major celebrities to do all the voices, as if we're supposed to actually see these actors on screen.

But then I want to see Hollywood make a lot of changes. I want them to show us real nudity instead of this teasing Puritan nudity they mostly use now. I want them to treat sex scenes as complete stories with exposition, rising action, a climax, falling action, and a denouement, instead of showing us a bit of exposition, a bit of rising action, and then skipping to the denouement. Enough of all the cowardice!

I look forward to your thoughts about The Incredible Hulk and The Happening. Ang Lee's Hulk was a bunch of melodramatic crap, so I really want to see this movie turn the tide. And everyone wants to see M. Night Shyamalan make another good movie; we just can't let The Sixth Sense be a flash in the pan.

I deserve a T-Shirt because I have been an avid supporter of RT for many years. I see at least one big screen release each week and I always use RT to get the inside scoop and refer RT to the many people who come to me for movie recommendations. I have also persistantly supported RT in resolving tech issues where showtimes for opening week movies were not being listed on RT. RT is the best.

Well there is alot of people that really want this shirt. I'll be brief about how I got here and why I like being here. I was looking up some big movie back in 2002. I dont know remember how I wind-up here but since then I liked being here. The main reason I like it here is the late breaking news about upcomming movies.
