No problem with Carole Lombard in this modest sentimental comedy, she has the part down pat.

Her carefree days come to a halt when the riotous senior citizen makes an offensive noise during a singing waiter's big number. This outburst puts Patsy before the kind but stern Judge Daly, who promptly sends her to a female retirement community. But attention-hungry fan dancer Alabam Lee intervenes and chooses to "adopt" the hell-raising Patsy for Mother's Day as part of her publicist's PR stunt. For once, Patsy takes her newfound motherly role soberly and notices that Alabam's managers are withholding the dough she's actually due. Cons, romantic misunderstandings, and comic confusion steer the female duo on a wild course toward friendship. [More]
