Synopsis: A brash young American celebrity, Robin Grange (John Bon Jovi), goes to London to star in a major new play, and becomes the central character in a real-life mystery fueled by intrigue and passion.... A brash young American celebrity, Robin Grange (John Bon Jovi), goes to London to star in a major new play, and becomes the central character in a real-life mystery fueled by intrigue and passion. The playwright of the production, Felix Webb (Lambert Wilson), is having an intense affair with his leading ingenue Hilary Rule (Thandie Newton). Eleanor (Anna Galina), Felix's wife of fourteen years and mother of his three children, suspects her cheating husband and cannot suppress her jealous rage. Robin is a brash and seductive man, and offers Felix an intriguing answer to his extramarital dilemma: he will seduce Felix's classy and beautiful wife in order to keep her busy and out of her husband's business. Felix desperately agrees. However, things are not as simple as they seem, as the plot of the play begins to mirror the dilemmas of the real-life lovers. Felix feels himself more and more jealous of Robin's attempts to seduce his willing wife, desperately trying to stay ahead of the calculating leading man as he charms everyone in the company, including his nubile co-star, Hilary. Felix is caught in a web of deceit and jealousy, prompting desperation and revenge on the opening night of his new theatrical triumph. [More]

Begins as a backstage story about the London theater world, and then a little Hitchcockian intrigue edges into the frame.

Jon Bon Jovi, with his fiendishly angelic smile, thick, unruly locks, and piercing, flirtatious orbs, is slowly grooming himself for stardom.
