Critic Reviews for Legionnaire
In its look and feel, the film resembles action adventures of the 40's and 50's, starring perhaps Gary Cooper.
A fun, great-looking, old-fashoned adventure film in the tradition of Beau Geste. One of Van Damme's best.
So-so, granulated Foreign Legion adventure.
Could have been a great film, [but] suffers the fate of its protagonists -- honourable failure.
Audience Reviews for Legionnaire
Always been a big fan of watching Van Damme kick butt with the signature spin kick and fighting in general. Unfortunately, there is very little of that in "Legionnaire" and I found it to be a snore fest....even though I don't snore.More
Did I remember this movie wrong or what?....It wasn't good....I thought the beginning was the best part...but that wasn't good at all....and it didn't get better after that. awful dialogue as well...This went from one of the best van damme movies to one of the worst.More
Typical Van Damme transferred to the desert, complete with all the usual accompanying cliches. JC fans won't complain. I, however, prefer GOOD films.More
