Good movie, great acting, poor editing

I enjoy the movie, overall. I love the performances, especially Anne Hathaway's performance, it was raw, it was passionate, it was something different from her. Russel Crowe's performance was not to say awful, but bad. He focus more on his singing than his acting. Hugh Jackman was okay, he's good, but I don't like him singing "Bring Him Home". The other casts are great too, Samantha Barks plays Eponine so beautifully. But, why is the movie so darn long? I mean, there are a lot of scenes that are unnecessary, some scenes are just plain boring. They should at least edit some of the scenes. But overall, I think its good film, although I don't like the close-up shots of every solos an actor need to do. Anne Hathaway's performance was a standout. I have no problem with the film, but the editing, the movie is just too damn long.
