A young man's interest in film history leads to a revelation about his own past in this drama. This movie is from 1989, not 2001, and it's not French. A young teen gets involved with an older guy over the phone, unaware he's a serial killer. It's good, I recommend it.

This movie will teach your preteen a lesson. Side note: it says you can watch this on flixster, but that's an older movie of the same name, not this movie!

You can see this being a typical love story almost from the beginning. But it was alot better than I thought it would be.
