Little Ashes Moustache Contest - Give Us Your Best 'Stache!

Two lucky winners will receive an exclusive prize from Little Ashes, in theaters today!

In this week's period piece Little Ashes, Twilight star Robert Pattinson adopts the mannerisms -- and the famously eccentric facial hair -- of Spanish artist Salvador Dali. In celebration of the film, which hits select cities nationwide on Friday, RT is hosting an epic, week-long moustache contest to see who can come the closest to replicating the master painter and filmmaker's iconic 'stache. Do you have the stuff that moustache dreams are made of? If so, step up and submit your best photographed, Photoshopped, or drawn self portraits for a chance to win an exclusive Little Ashes poster signed by Pattinson himself!

In Little Ashes, Robert Pattinson (Twilight) gives a daring performance as the young art student Salvador Dali, who arrives at Spain's School of Fine Arts and befriends fellow up-and-comers Luis Bunuel (Matthew McNulty) and the poet Federico Garcia Lorca (Javier Beltran), with whom Dali has an unusual and tumultuous love affair. As Dali the student grows apart from Lorca and strikes out to seize his own destiny, he grows the famous long and pointy moustache that Dali the artist would become known for -- one that he wore at times twisted up, pointed out, and even adorned with tiny flowers.

The moustache in the picture of Robert Pattinson on the movie poster looks as fake as Jen Yamato's.

When are people going to realize that the sexual proclivaties of great men real or rumored are very rarely the aspects of them that make movies great. We've already killed off the possibility of another Alexander the Great biopic for at least a decade did we really need to do the same with Salvador Dali first time out? These guys did genuinely amazing things and lived fantastic lives is the fact that they were gay in Dali's case allegedly really the most interesting thing about him? I don't recall him painting hidden images of his gay lover in almost all his paintings like he did his wife Helena who was already married when he met her, 10 years his senior and was by all accounts his muse for his greatest works of art and was a part of his life until his death. Would that love story not make a better movie than a conjectured love affair he may or may not have had at college? This has always bugged me about certain movie and Alexander really drove it home for me, This would be like making a movie about Maggie Thatcher and making it into a college sex romp about a lesbian affair she had. Lets hope this doesn't mimic Alexander in the other way and kill the plans for the other Dali movie in the works with its suckitude.

Ritalin. . . someone needs Ritalin. . .

However. Oliver Stone's "Alexander the Great" is a 1 out of 5 star film. Horrible. Yes, it may have harmed Baz Luhrman's wish. The Director's cut is actually on my top 10 worst films ever made list (#1 is the original Funny Games).

Maggie Thatcher was an evil woman. Whatever sexual preference she had, I'm sure they don't want to claim her. Heterosexuals want her to be gay, Lesbians want her to be straight.

Dali was a bit of a wacko. He used to draw giant penises and hand them to women as a kind of come-on. I have a friend who has an original Dali etching, just a lot of feminine pubic hair. The melting clocks, Un Chien d'andalou, and Hitchcock dream scenes he did were rare compared to what many would consider "porn."

and again, maybe start with 2 Ritalin. . .

I don't think the remake to "Funny Games" would fare much better...

Sorry for the rant, but I went out and saw this PoS cause I'm a big fan of Dali's non-pubic related works and felt the need to rant and this was the only thread I saw related to the movie.
