Four important episodes of the popular television series, based on Laura Ingalls Wilder's acclaimed novels about trials and tribulations of a young family newly settled on the wild Kansas frontier, are collected. "The Premiere" introduces viewers to the family and their life. "In "The Lord Is My Shepherd," a new baby boy is born to the Ingalls family and Laura refuses to pray for him after he becomes seriously ill, fearing that her brother will rob her of her father's affections. When the baby dies Laura runs away out of feelings of guilt for her insensitivity. "The Collection" follows the family's interaction with a con man posing as a preacher and "Laura Ingalls Wilder" focuses on the life of the author. [More]
