I guess he means that John McClane is like Fred Flinstone, which he kind of is now that I think about it, and with all the technology in the movie it is kind of like the Jetsons. And John does have a hard time using the technology properly, so the caveman in the future thing makes sense. He must be a fan of those two cartoons to think of such a strange thing to compare the movie to.

Lol, I have no idea what you're talking about, but I like it.

When you replace Sam Jackson with Justin Long you know that, whilst the franchise may not be flatlining, it is struggling to breath, and clutching its chest in the first wave of arrhythmia. There's nothing wrong with Justin Long as the twitchy sweating sidekick per se. The problem is, as an actor, he has two emotions; "We're being chased by a big evil bird," and, "Where is the big evil bird?" Now in a narrative where there is no sign of a big evil bird, and the bad guy intent on world dominion is provided by an ambivalent Tim Olyphant trying to decide whether to be bad guy with a conscience or good guy with a cause, we're left with Willis to carry the film by himself. Unfortunately, Hollywood hasn't trusted him to do this since Die Hard 2 - so you can see the problems in the narrative. The tag line for the movie should read, "Why shoot a man when you can drive him on the trunk of your car into an elevator shaft."
